Jean-Pierre Gauthier: Machines at Play Installation“What makes Gauthier’s art chatter, jump, jitter and sing?” During regular gallery hours on September 17 – 21 and 23 – 26, webcams answered that question as they captured artist Jean-Pierre Gauthier building his mechanized art from the ground up. |

The open installation and these three webcams were the first in the museum's history and allow the public access to a process that's normally off-limits.

The documentary Jean-Pierre Gauthier: Machines at Play airs on Western Reserve PBS Friday, September 26 at 8:30 pm, Sunday, September 28 at 8 pm and Saturday, October 4 at 3:30 pm.
