K-12 Summer Tour Program

K-12 Summer Tour Program

The Akron Art Museum is committed to supporting the educational success of local youth by providing quality educational programs and exciting learning opportunities for students and educators. During the museum’s Summer Youth Tour Program, specially trained docents (museum guides) lead children through the museum's galleries and initiate focused discussions and activities around specially selected groups of art objects. Following the tour experience, museum educators guide your group through a brief hands-on art activity.
