Memberships

Join the Akron Art Museum! We offer many different categories of membership for you to choose from. You may even purchase a membership as a gift for someone.  Members are an integral part of the museum.  Buying a membership allows you to take advantage of world-class art and programs while contributing to the development of the arts in our community.

You may also join or renew your membership at the lobby Visitor Services desk Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday to 9:00 p.m. Memberships may also be purchased during store hours in the Museum Store or over the phone.

  • *Individual $50 - Full general membership benefits for one adult
  • *Dual/Household $65 - Full general membership benefits for two adults and children under the age of 18 living at the same address
  • *Contributor $100 - Full general benefits for two adults and children under the age of 18 and  reciprocal membership benefits to 15 museums in Ohio (listed below) and over 300 nationwide
  • *Contributor-Plus  $150 - Full general and reciprical benefits plus exclusive Mod/Co reciprocal membership benefits at over 40 world class US contemporary art museums
  • Sponsor $250 - All general and reciprocal benefits plus four one-time use guest admission passes
  • Sustainer $500 - All general and reciprocal benefits plus an invitation to one exclusive Director's Circle event per year

Director's Circle

Director's Circle Membership - The Ultimate Members Only! Experience

The Director's Circle is a group of premier patrons who contribute between $1,000 and $10,000 annually to the museum. Director's Circle members are invited to exclusive events, including dinners with artists, private tours and international arts-related travel with the Director of the museum.
